Tasting Notes:


A deep dark ruby red color nearly opaque offers aromas of dark brandied cherries, cassis along with Asian-spices, sandal-wood/cedar and licorice tones; followed by aromas of wild blackberry, sage and hints of ginger. The palate is rich, round and firm with fine grained tannin that express flavors of hazelnut brittle and baked plum while finishing with cocoa and candied cassis and a long and refined tannin structure on the finish. (Best from 2010 to 2025).
